In this role, you will:
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and analyze credit product performance across partner programs, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and profitability targets.
- Client & Partner Relationships: Participate in building and maintaining effective relationships with program partners and internal coverage teams, sharing relevant insights and collaborating on strategic opportunities.
- Financial & Risk Analysis: Review and analyze client portfolios for key metrics such as cash flow, liquidity, leverage, working capital, debt coverage, collateral, and repayment sources to support underwriting and periodic reviews.
- Recommendations & Judgment: Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Deal Support & Gap Analysis: Partner with senior peers on individual deals and client relationships to identify gaps, understand client businesses and financial positions, and execute opportunities for modifications, renewals, and refinancings.
- Portfolio Reviews & Risk Management: Participate in regular portfolio reviews to manage risk and lead problem loan resolutions where applicable.
- Product Feedback: Partner with product management teams to provide feedback on tools and processes that improve delivery of credit solutions and meet client and market needs.
- Client Servicing: Collaborate with senior peers and functional partners to resolve client servicing requests and inquiries related to credit products.
- 2+ years of secured or specialized lending relationship management or portfolio management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Bilingual in French and English
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, Python, or BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) is an asset
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- University degree in business/commerce, accounting or finance
