Deep tech innovator Digital Catapult announced a new office in Bristol to better serve local startups and businesses. Digital Catapult provides services such as tech consulting, accelerator programs and access to its network of labs. Its new facility is designed to help deep tech startups scale.
Digital Catapult’s new office will serve as a permanent base for South Gloucestershire, Bristol and Bath at the Bristol & Bath Science Park. The new hub strengthens the organization’s local capabilities, including partnerships with academic institutions, government authorities and startups, and reflects its commitment to fueling regional innovation. Digital Catapult’s new center will facilitate the creation of new jobs and partnerships.
“The South West of England and Wales represent a significant opportunity for the U.K. economy with huge potential as centers of deep tech innovation and commercial growth,” Susan Bowen, CEO of Digital Catapult, said in a statement. “The early adoption and practical application of deep tech innovation will be critical to supporting local industries such as the West of England’s aerospace cluster, the world-class Createch talent stretching through the innovation corridor from South Wales and into Exeter and Falmouth, realizing the ambitions of Wales’ two AI Growth Zones and strengthening regional energy security.”
