Cyber Resilience Company Immersive Appoints New CEO

Mark Schmitz brings over two decades of B2B technology leadership to the cybersecurity company.

Immersivea company specializing in cybersecurity solutions, has appointed Mark Schmitz as its new chief executive officer, succeeding company founder James Hadley. Following Schmitz’s appointment, Hadley will take on the role of chief innovation officer, helping to further the company’s strategic vision while remaining on the board.

Schmitz brings over two decades of experience in scaling B2B tech organizations to Immersive. His expertise in areas like business operations, sales, customer success, digital transformation and marketing stems from his time spent in leadership positions at companies including SAP, Ariba and Accenture. Most recently, Schmitz served as president at Collibra, a company specializing in data intelligence.

In his new capacity as CEO, Schmitz hopes to help fuel company growth and enhance the value Immersive brings to its customers. The company helps enterprises continuously improve their cyber resilience by equipping teams and individuals with realistic cyber drills and exercises.
