As a 3DEXperience Domain Lead – Data Collaboration, you will join the "Product & Simulation" team within the One PLM Product Service Line, reporting to the Head of Product. In this core function, you will drive the sustainable IT transformation of our company, implementing digitalization through key programs like DDMS and delivering innovative services such as Skywise. Your mission is to provide a single, harmonized set of IS/IT tools for the development of the aircraft, its industrial set-up, and its support services, ensuring a protected and safe environment for thousands of worldwide end-users every day.

In this role, you will ensure that Information Management (IM) remains integrated across the entire business, from design to delivery. By leading the development and support of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) solutions, you will align with the Airbus Group Process, Method, and Tools strategy. Your scope will span Product Process and Resources within the fields of Manufacturing, Support and Services, and Quality, ensuring digital continuity for both recurring and non-recurring aspects of our aircraft programs. 
 

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • Conduct in-depth discovery meetings across Engineering, Support, Services, and Quality to identify complex objectives, while monitoring external trends to challenge and refine business requirements.
  • Define functional and technical specifications for stakeholder review, producing comprehensive documentation of current challenges, future requirements, and anticipated benefits tailored to the customer.
  • Manage the end-to-end realization of IT solutions within a multinational SAFe framework, collaborating with technical experts and software publishers to ensure cross-functional alignment and solution integrity.
  • Assist the IT Product Manager with strategic planning while facilitating continuous collaboration between Product Management and development teams during implementation and rollout across global sites.
  • Lead the "Run Mode" phase and legacy product replacement, managing task forces, escalation procedures, and business process improvements in compliance with the overarching IT strategy.
ABOUT YOU:
  • Proven experience in functional architecture, project management, solution engineering or another relevant field. 

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent. 

  • Ideally, knowledge in the field of Design, Manufacturing, Support and Services, or in the following domains: Manufacturing Engineering, Shop Floor Execution, Industrial Modelling and Simulation, Configuration Management, Quality, Configured Digital Mock-Up (DMU), Product Lifecycle Management, Engineering IS, Architecture, Maintenance and Repair.

  • Ability to lead a project from start to finish and deliver results. 

  • Knowledge of IT tools customizing and architecture, IT and business strategy alignment, IT product design and product development, IT business change management
