We give you a world of potential

Computershare has an exciting opportunity for an AI Acceleration Lead to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Reporting directly to our Delivery Lead, you'll join our brand-new AI Hub, a growing team focused on delivering innovative technology solutions and exploring how emerging technologies can create value across our business.

Working closely with programme leaders, senior stakeholders and technical colleagues, you'll contribute to impactful initiatives, gain broad exposure across the organisation and play a key role in the evolution of our technology landscape.

A role you will love
As our AI Acceleration Lead, you'll sit within our AI SDLC value stream and be responsible for building the capabilities, frameworks and ways of working that help our technology teams turn prioritised AI opportunities into production-ready solutions.

You'll lead Computershare's AI Acceleration Centre, establishing it as the go-to function for AI-enabled software delivery. Working closely with CIOs, technology teams and business leaders, you'll help accelerate adoption of AI across the software development lifecycle, ensuring teams have the tools, support and confidence to realise measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish a repeatable process for identifying, validating and prioritising opportunities where AI can improve software delivery outcomes.
  • Lead the implementation of AI SDLC capabilities within targeted, business-impacting programmes, partnering with CIOs and business leaders to drive end-to-end improvements and measure realised benefits.
  • Develop a scalable operating model for AI-enabled software delivery, including reusable standards, patterns, controls and best practices.
  • Build capability and confidence across CIO delivery teams through practical coaching, visible leadership and specialist support.
  • Enable wider adoption of AI-enabled ways of working while ensuring appropriate governance, security, privacy, architecture and engineering standards are maintained.
  • Drive enterprise-wide adoption and acceleration of AI-enabled software delivery, helping teams move from experimentation to sustainable delivery at scale.

What will you bring to the role?

As our AI Acceleration Lead, you'll bring extensive experience in software delivery, modern engineering practices and software development lifecycle management, alongside a strong understanding of emerging AI technologies and how they can be applied within enterprise delivery environments.

You'll also be an exceptional stakeholder manager, comfortable engaging with senior technology leaders, business sponsors, architecture, risk, information security and governance teams. You'll be confident challenging constructively, building alignment across diverse groups and navigating competing priorities in a collaborative and pragmatic way.

Other key skills and experience

  • Extensive experience designing and scaling capability-building functions, centres of excellence, transformation programmes or enterprise-wide change initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of governance, security, privacy, architecture, engineering quality and operational readiness, with the ability to balance innovation, risk and organisational adoption.
  • Experience working across multiple CIO organisations, business functions, control groups and executive stakeholders, aligning diverse priorities around a shared strategic direction.
  • A track record of coaching and developing senior practitioners, delivery leaders and technology executives, while fostering a culture of learning, experimentation, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Strong judgement and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess emerging technologies, evaluate competing priorities and determine the right approach to scaling adoption within a regulated environment.
  • A passion for helping teams embrace new ways of working and realise measurable value from AI-enabled software delivery.

This is a unique opportunity to shape how AI-enabled software delivery is adopted and scaled across Computershare. You'll work closely with senior leaders across the organisation, influence strategic decision-making and help establish the foundations that will enable our teams to deliver faster, smarter and with greater impact.

If you're passionate about AI, technology transformation and helping teams realise the potential of new ways of working, we'd love to hear from you. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact across the enterprise while helping shape the future of software delivery at Computershare.
