Role

The Legal Account Executive will be responsible for bringing in new business, with a focus on European regional law firms. The role will establish business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the legal space. This full-time role is based in our London office on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office per week) and will require travel for client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Establish business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
  • Manage all facets of the sales cycle to exceed annual targets including pitching, negotiating, closing and cross-selling
  • Identify competitive advantages by understanding how current subscribers leverage our products
  • Interface with prospects and communicate the value of all Octus products

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience or education in the legal space is preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in a subscription sales role, ideally selling content, research or intelligence to law firms
  • Ability to learn quickly, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a desire to build a career in new business sales
  • Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience preferred
  • Fluent in English; other European language fluency would be an advantage but is not required
