Role Overview - Net New logos and Full-Cycle Business Development

The Account Executive is a quota-carrying individual contributor responsible for driving revenue through net-new client acquisition. With no direct reports, this role executes an agreed sales approach and personally owns opportunities from prospecting through close. The Account Executive builds pipeline within agreed markets and buyer groups, develops proposals using established offerings and commercial frameworks, and brings in revenue leadership and subject-matter experts when added complexity, expertise, or approval is needed. The role works within an agreed sales approach and receives regular coaching and support on complex opportunities while remaining accountable for advancing and closing the business.

REVENUE ACCOUNTABILITY
New-client revenue is the primary measure of success. This role carries an individual new-business revenue goal and is expected to consistently meet or exceed annual and quarterly targets. Additional measures include personally sourced pipeline, conversion, sales-cycle discipline, forecast accuracy, and CRM completeness.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Generation and Sales Execution

•  Own and deliver against an annual individual revenue target, with clear quarterly goals and activity expectations.

•  Maintain a consistent prospecting cadence across priority verticals, buyer profiles, referral sources, partnerships, events, and inbound leads to create a dependable flow of new opportunities.

•  Build and maintain sufficient qualified pipeline across a broad mix of opportunity sizes, solution types, and sales stages to support revenue expectations.

•  Qualify opportunities rigorously and move them forward through timely follow-up, clear next steps, stakeholder mapping, and proactive objection handling.

•  Maintain accurate CRM records and provide reliable forecasts, pipeline updates, and risk assessments.

Full-Cycle Consultative Selling

•  Lead discovery conversations to clarify client goals, target audiences, challenges, budgets, timelines, decision criteria, and desired outcomes.

•  Develop clear, well-scoped recommendations, proposals, presentations, and scopes of work using established Statara offerings and commercial frameworks, with input from internal experts as needed.

•  Recommend the right individual offering or integrated solution across insight and research, data and audience intelligence, digital media buying, activation, and measurement based on the client’s objectives.

•  Own opportunities through presentation, objection handling, pricing discussion, negotiation, and close. Bring in revenue leadership and subject-matter experts when added complexity, specialized expertise, or approval is needed, while remaining accountable for advancing the opportunity.

•  Ensure each closed opportunity includes approved pricing, scope, delivery commitments, success measures, ownership, timeline, and a complete handoff plan.

Commercial and Solution Fluency

•  Understand and explain Statara’s data, research, audience intelligence, digital media, activation, and measurement capabilities, including how they can be sold individually or combined to address client needs.

•  Discuss data and audience strategy, research and insights, programmatic display, CTV/OTT, online video, streaming audio, native, mobile, and related solutions with prospective clients.

•  Connect recommended solutions and measurement approaches to meaningful business, marketing, or advocacy outcomes.

•  Recognize when additional data, research, media, analytics, commercial, or delivery expertise is needed and engage the appropriate subject-matter experts; hands-on platform operation is not required.

Relationship Development and Collaboration

•  Build credibility with prospective clients by understanding their industry, organizational goals, and internal buying process.

•  Coordinate with subject-matter experts efficiently and bring the right resources into sales conversations at the right time.

•  Represent Statara professionally at meetings, conferences, and industry events.

•  Complete a thorough handoff and provide appropriate transition support to delivery and account teams; ongoing account management and delivery are not core responsibilities of the role.

•  Share prospect and market feedback with revenue leadership to improve targeting, qualification criteria, messaging, and sales materials within agreed markets.

How Success Will Be Measured

•  Achievement of annual and quarterly net-new client revenue goals.

•  Consistent prospecting activity and creation of qualified net-new opportunities across priority markets.

•  Conversion performance, sales-cycle management, and timely follow-up across a broad portfolio of active opportunities.

•  Forecast accuracy, CRM completeness, and visibility into risks and next steps.

What We Value

•  A results-oriented seller who takes ownership of commitments and follows through.

•  A consultative approach that starts with client goals rather than a predetermined product.

•  The ability to connect data, research, media strategy, and measurement into a clear client solution.

•  Strong collaboration, sound judgment, transparency, and disciplined use of CRM and forecasting processes.

Requirements

•  4+ years of consultative B2B sales, business development, or client solutions experience, with demonstrated revenue responsibility.

•  Demonstrated success personally prospecting, sourcing, and closing net-new clients, not solely supporting sales or maintaining existing accounts.

•  Working knowledge of digital media buying, ad tech, programmatic, campaign reporting, optimization, attribution, and measurement. Hands-on platform operation is not required.

•  Ability to sustain prospecting activity, apply consistent qualification standards, and manage a high-volume portfolio of opportunities at different stages.

•  Strong written, presentation, relationship-management, organization, and follow-through skills.

•  Comfort with CRM systems, pipeline management, activity tracking, and forecasting.

Preferred Qualifications

•  A relevant professional network and demonstrated ability to develop new buyer relationships that support early opportunity development.

•  Experience selling media, data, research, technology, analytics, strategic services, or integrated marketing solutions.

•  Experience with audience data, identity resolution, polling, research, or measurement strategy.
