As a vendor-independent consultancy, you’ll work with traditional technologies and leading-edge solutions for on-premise and cloud environments. We offer our employees progression, development and a diverse range of client engagements.

Role Overview:

As part of the capSpire Account Management team, Account Managers serve as the primary liaison between capSpire and its key clients. This role focuses on nurturing and expanding relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels within an assigned portfolio to drive sales, enhance client satisfaction, and protect revenue streams. With a primary focus on new business acquisition, supported by strategic account growth, this role is ideal for a seasoned enterprise software sales professional with deep knowledge of energy and commodity markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the sales of capSpire’s comprehensive range of products, services, and solutions to existing clients or select new clients.
  • Achieve and surpass annual sales targets for licenses and consulting services, typically ranging between $5M-$8M.
  • Manage and strengthen client relationships to meet revenue objectives and ensure the expansion of current Annual Contract Value (ACV) and Total Contract Value (TCV).
  • Oversee the full sales cycle for a portfolio of assigned clients, leading to successful deal closures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Professional Services and Sales Support, to create compelling commercial proposals and relevant documentation.
  • Ensure clients derive maximum value from capSpire’s solutions and achieve high levels of satisfaction.
  • Strategically engage in industry events, networking, and thought leadership to identify and attract new clients.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise sales, specifically within ETRM/ CTRM consulting.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance both “hunter” and “farmer” approaches, excelling at developing new client opportunities while deepening existing relationships.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets (including new logo acquisition).
  • Strong network and credibility in the energy trading, utilities, and/or commodities space.
  • Proven executive presence and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
  • A collaborative spirit with the desire to contribute to a team-focused environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with strategic selling methodologies.
  • Familiarity with both physical and financial energy products (power, gas, oil, etc.).
  • Proficiency in additional languages, with a preference for German.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics).

Our Impact:

  • We serve a diverse client base, including some of the most influential players in the energy and commodities market.
  • capSpire’s solutions empower corporations with tools for effective commodity trading, risk management, and streamlined workflow automation.
