What you’ll be doing:Working within the Medical technology department, at ZEISS, we are looking for an Account Manager in Wales. This role will be responsible for driving sales across this territory and managing key accounts.You will be required to achieve targets through product demonstrations, lead qualification, and market trend analysis.Key responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of the surgical and diagnostic product ranges in clinical settings, showcasing Zeiss workflows, organizing product demos, and converting sales opportunities.
  • Develop and manage key accounts, including preparing presentations, tenders, and proposals, negotiating discount levels, and fostering strong customer relationships.
  • Execute targeted sales plans, follow up on leads from marketing activities, and coordinate supply contracts, customer training, and product troubleshooting.
  • Project and forecast sales, maintain accurate CRM and market data, and provide feedback on new product opportunities and customer insights.
  • Represent the company at industry events, uphold professional standards, and actively resolve customer concerns to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Key requirements:

  • Proven sales success in the healthcare industry, both public and private sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of ophthalmic equipment; ideally with experience in clinical settings, and understanding of the theatre environment is desirable.
  • Proactive, performance-driven orientation with demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, implementing effective business plans and achieving accountability in sales within assigned areas.
  • Committed to acting with integrity and professionalism, maintaining ethical conduct, and collaborating effectively with colleagues across business units to ensure a positive brand presence.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively with departments like Market Development and Customer Care, ensuring customer satisfaction and strong partnerships across accounts.
