Our customers are some of the biggest players in the travel sector, and our partners are key players in the FinTech world. Established in 2019, we are currently a growing team of 34, aiming to become the number one choice for B2B payments within the UK and EEA.

Pax2pay offers an award-winning digital payment solution that makes travel payments easier, faster, and safer for the entire travel industry. We enable businesses to pay for their costs via virtual cards and bank transfers—everything from hotel bookings to flights, travel transfers to tour bookings.

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Account Director with travel or payments experience to join our sales team in the UK. You will play a crucial role in establishing Pax2pay as the provider of choice within the UK market. As part of a dynamic sales team, you will manage key client relationships, drive growth within existing accounts, and contribute to acquiring new business.

Core Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the UK to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Account Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services within existing accounts through cross-selling and up-selling of Pax2pay's products and solutions.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with the sales team to identify and acquire new clients, increasing Pax2pay's market share in the region.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, product, and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery of services and solutions to clients.
  • Market Expertise: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing industry insights and best practices in B2B payments.
  • Representation: Represent Pax2pay at face-to-face meetings, networking events, and industry conferences to enhance client relationships and market presence.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of account activities and sales pipelines in HubSpot CRM, utilizing tools like ZoomInfo and Engage.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Experience:
    • Proven track record in account management or business development roles within the travel or payments industry.
    • Solid understanding of B2B payments, virtual cards, or travel sector operations.
  • Skills:
    • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Strategic thinking with the capability to identify growth opportunities.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot and sales enablement platforms like ZoomInfo or Engage.
