We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to partner with high-profile clients and the broader Podean team to develop and execute Amazon and marketplace strategies and unlock incremental brand growth. Client servicing, strategy, program delivery, project management, and analysis will all be key functions in this role with the expectation that the account manager is well-versed in all aspects of eCommerce strategy including media, creative, and retail solutions.

This role would suit a highly capable go-getter, looking to take their knowledge and client services experience to the next level, supporting some of the most successful and sophisticated brands on Amazon.

What You’ll Do 

  • Partner directly with clients to drive marketplace growth strategies, taking ownership of performance delivery and day-to-day account success
  • Support the development and execution of annual brand, marketing, and promotional plans across Amazon and other marketplaces, facilitating client direction and offering recommendations based on experience
  • Manage and deliver account roadmaps, proactively identifying opportunities to expand workstreams and grow client investment
  • Own day-to-day client communications, meetings, reporting, and presentations, ensuring clear follow-up, accountability, and momentum
  • Act as the internal advocate for your clients, monitoring performance, reviewing Amazon accounts regularly, and coordinating internal teams to deliver against objectives
  • Work cross-functionally with retail, media, creative, and sales teams to drive revenue growth and improve overall client performance
  • Proactively identify and resolve client challenges, confidently recommending solutions while collaborating internally on complex strategic decisions
  • Support agency growth by identifying upsell opportunities and contributing to new business where relevant
  • Champion and contribute to marketplace best practices, sharing knowledge with clients and internal teams
  • Support development of processes, SOPs, and proactive initiatives that improve client delivery and operational efficiency
  • Use Amazon and marketplace data to lead client business reviews and performance discussions, translating insights into clear actions
  • Stay up to date with marketplace developments, platform updates, and emerging opportunities, sharing relevant insights with clients
  • Balance multiple client priorities in a fast-paced agency environment, maintaining high standards and consistent delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+  years’ experience in digital media, eCommerce, or marketing, ideally within an agency or marketplace-focused environment
  • Strong hands-on experience managing Amazon and/or other eCommerce marketplace platforms across retail and/ or advertising functions
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple client relationships and deliver performance-driven marketing or eCommerce strategies
  • Strong commercial awareness, with experience aligning activity to client business goals and revenue growth
  • Confident communicator, comfortable leading client conversations and presenting to a range of stakeholder levels
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Strong analytical mindset, able to interpret performance data and translate insights into clear strategic recommendations
  • Solutions-focused and adaptable, comfortable working in a dynamic agency environment with evolving client needs and marketplace changes
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools used to drive client performance and communication
