Mission
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Bank Accountant at the middle/senior level, specialising in bank accounting and payment processing. Key responsibilities include managing and reconciling bank accounts, processing payments, and monitoring multi-currency balances and intercompany transactions.
Your outcomes
- Bank Account Management:
- Execute payments using various online banking systems and payment platforms in different currencies (Bank Of America, Currency Cloud, PayPal,Payoneer, etc)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bank-related transactions in ERP Netsuite
- Track and manage bank balances to ensure sufficient funds for daily payments and operations
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions (KYC, email communication )
- Participate in month-end close procedures related to Account payable and accounts Receivable process
- Assistance with corporate cards transactions
- Support the finance team in establishing effective cash management practices.
- Implement bank related processes and controls
- Manage payment automation process, integration payment systems with ERP for smooth payment processing
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting with a focus on bank accounting, accounts payable
- Knowledge of main types of payments (ACH, SEPA, international wires)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and regulations
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously in an independent work environment
- Good technical skills (excel proficient, google sheets)
- Flexible and quick learner
- Fluency in English language
