Why this job is important

As an Accountant at Kantar, you will be part of a multifaceted and coordinated Finance function delivering operational Finance specialist services. You will work closely with internal and external partners to ensure processes are performed in accordance with performance and quality standards. Your role will be essential in assisting with closing and reporting, adhering to statutory requirements, and maintaining strong professional relationships across the business

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist in the maintenance, processing, and production of month/year-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and associated underlying schedules.
  • Support the preparation and review of period close entries, and general ledger accounts reconciliation and analysis.
  • Prepare monthly financial documents into Kantar's consolidation tool.
  • Coordinate month-end and quarter-end reporting schedules.
  • Maintain close relationships with customer/3rd party delivery partner teams to ensure responsiveness to their needs and support in delivering a positive resolution of any performance issues.

The skills & experience needed as

  • Proven experience as an accountant.
  • Experience in producing year-end accounts and preparation for audit.
  • Proficient English speaker, accurately able to read and write English and communicate efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a changing and flexible organization.
  • Willingness to work flexibly across geographic time zones during peak periods such as period end
