Job Summary
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is looking for a driven Accountant to join a growing team. In this role, you will be working closely with other accountants and operations personnel on day-to-day accounting tasks in a hybrid office environment.
Essential Functions- Responsible for posting bank transactions in the accounting system and preparing payments in the Bank Portals.
- Bank Reconciliations, as well as Reconciliations of assigned general ledger accounts.
- Downloading the Bank Statements from the Bank Portals and updating the Bank Sheet daily.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities.
- Assist the accounting team during audit periods and ad-hoc projects as needed.
Education:
- Accredited University degree in Accounting / ACCA qualification
Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Must be fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred
- Detail and deadline oriented
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
- A team player, self-starter, able to function with little supervision
