What you will be doing 

You will be on a development journey to guide your growth into the role of Airframe Automation Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following:  

1. Analyze Engineering business processes to identify and implement critical improvements to streamline our workflows, shorten our time-to-market, and drive process efficiencies across engineering design activities.

2. Deliver automation solutions from concept through deployment. 

3. Optimise engineering process through digital tools and automation.

4. Explore the usage of new IT technologies (e.g. LLM, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Knowledge Graph…) to improve engineering productivity.

5. Opportunity to rotate across Airframe Engineering and digital domains - Digital Airframe, Wing engineering operations, and technical authority to gain broad exposure to engineering delivery, digital transformation, operational excellence and Technical governance.

Your development journey will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.

At the end of the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of Airframe Automation Engineer!

What we are looking for

To be a successful applicant, you will need to demonstrate you have:

- A degree level or equivalent within Aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer science, software engineering, data science or a related technical discipline.

- Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of technical, digital, engineering, operations or business related field, with strong motivation to learn and grow in a complex engineering environment

- Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)

- A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation

- The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
