What Makes This Role Interesting:

In this role, you will be the co-architect of our products in Forest Operations, directly influencing how global timber supply chains evolve through intelligent automation. You will not just manage a roadmap; you will champion an AI-first culture, leveraging modern tools like Cursor to prototype and deliver high-impact solutions that solve complex, real-world forestry operational challenges.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business opportunities, customer feedback, market insights, and operational challenges into clear product requirements, user stories, and scalable solution concepts.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure successful product delivery, adoption, and measurable business impact.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, strategic importance, and AI-enabled opportunities while balancing short-term execution and long-term product vision.
  • Validate product decisions through customer interviews, usage analytics, experimentation, market research, and performance measurement to continuously improve outcomes.
  • Monitor product performance, adoption, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency to identify improvement opportunities and ensure measurable business results.
  • Apply systems thinking to product and operational decisions by understanding how changes impact the broader ecosystem, workflows, incentives, and long-term business performance.
  • Demonstrate strong product taste by identifying customer needs, market opportunities, and product improvements that may not yet be obvious through data alone.
  • Operate with a high degree of ownership, adaptability, and curiosity, proactively learning new domains, technologies, and workflows critical to the mission.
  • Champion an AI-first product culture by identifying opportunities to apply AI, automation, and intelligent workflows to improve internal productivity and customer-facing experiences.
  • Utilize modern AI-assisted tools and productivity platforms (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Notion AI, or similar solutions) to accelerate product discovery, prototyping, analysis, documentation, collaboration, and operational efficiency.
  • Continuously explore and adopt new AI capabilities independently, integrating them into daily workflows without requiring formal enablement or training.

Your Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong customer-centric mindset with proven skills in problem-solving, ownership, and driving measurable business impact.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, make clear decisions under uncertainty, and balance short-term execution with long-term strategic goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use customer feedback, usage data, market insights, and experimentation to drive product decisions and measure success.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data, and commercial teams in agile product development environments.
  • Proven experience in Product Management, preferably within B2B SaaS.
  • Strong product taste and judgment, with the ability to anticipate customer and market reactions beyond obvious or immediately visible signals.
  • Systems thinking mindset with the ability to understand second-order effects, operational dependencies, and long-term ecosystem impacts of product decisions.
  • Generalist mindset with strong intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly develop competence across new domains, technologies, and business challenges.
  • AI-first mentality with demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and workflows to improve execution speed, quality, learning, creativity, and decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools and modern productivity platforms such as Cursor, Claude Code, Notion AI, or similar solutions in day-to-day workflows.
  • Self-directed learner who actively experiments with and adopts emerging AI technologies without relying on formal company training or structured guidance.
  • Ability to identify opportunities where AI, automation, and intelligent systems can create customer and operational value.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience working in international and matrix organizations with cross-regional product ownership and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with data-driven product development, business intelligence tools, and product performance measurement frameworks.
  • Experience with AI-driven product concepts, workflow automation, platform-based product ecosystems, or AI-assisted operational processes is considered a strong advantage.
  • Practical experience working with AI-enabled product development workflows and modern AI tooling ecosystems.
  • Experience or familiarity with the forestry, timber, paper, wood products, or broader forestry supply chain industry is considered an advantage.
