We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer who will help shape and expand our AI capabilities, driving the development of innovative integrations and tools, and delivering a cutting-edge AI platform for data-driven solutions at FREENOW. While we currently have AI-powered features and automations in place—such as chatbots, LLMs, NLP solutions, and predictive models—we're seeking someone to not only support and optimize these systems but also to push beyond existing use cases, unlocking new opportunities for AI across our organization!

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:

• Own and develop our AI capabilities and vision  to build up an innovative Data Platform.
• Develop, implement, and optimize AI-driven chatbots and automation solutions for our stakeholders across different channels.
• Leverage AI and MLE to generate engaging tooling for guided data discovery and innovative insight generation processes.
• Identify bottlenecks in our current processes and use cases and build creative tooling to enable our technical and non technical stakeholders.
• Interact mainly with our internal stakeholders, translate technical constraints, contexts, processes and requirements to both technical and non technical audience and act as a process and data product owner.
• Assess and improve frameworks, tools and processes, develop solutions from scratch, translate business needs into effective tools, adopt new methodologies quickly, and apply industry best practices to enhance systems with a focus on innovation and problem-solving.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Innovative can-do attitude, able to solve problems independently, also going beyond existing systems and processes.
• Extensive experience in NLP, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and data preprocessing, with expertise in Transformer models (BERT, GPT-4, T5) and LLMs (Gemini, Llama3, Mistral).
• Knowledge of frameworks such as Langchain used to expose AI models, get chat functionalities and train prompts.
• Proficient in model training, fine-tuning, and performance evaluation, applying techniques like regression, classification, clustering, time-series forecasting, and anomaly detection.
• Strong foundation in machine learning concepts, with advanced skills in Python, C/C++, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and SaaS platforms (Flask, APIs) for AI-driven automation.
• Experienced in data sourcing, transformation, and preparation.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
