What You'll Bring:
We're looking for a Analytics Consultant Marketing Solutions to join our growing team.
Day to Day You'll Be:

  • You will work across the CAMEO product suite to identify customer and market needs, driving innovation and new marketing products to market
  • You will help scoping, developing and bring to market new geodemographics and clustering models (e.g. CAMEO) to support our clients needs. For example CAMEO offers the all-important segmentations that helps customers adapt with their audience - so they can unlock value in targeted campaigns, confidently assess risks, and nurture new and existing customer relationships.
  • You will help support the scoping of the data requirements around future launches of new Credit Based Marketing offerings such as Pre-Screen, 18+, Engagement Score and Gone Away
  • You will help support future projects working with the Global Product Team around identity graph capabilities and modelling approaches
  • You will support the product, marketing and sales teams in identifying new ways to utilise the data and the visualisation tools to help bring to life the rich data insights TU can provide to solve customer problems
  • You will work with client data sets to analyse against TU offerings, identifying and interpreting trends and patterns which you'll turn into internal/external recommendations, supporting commercial opportunities
  • You will help our clients to understand their data and how it relates to their business objectives
  • You will help to identify and evaluate new data sources and capabilities which TU may enhance our offerings with
  • You will work with the wider Global TU Marketing Solutions teams in understanding and reviewing Global capabilities which could enhance or offer efficiencies in UK current practices and technical setup
  • You will identify areas of potential automation or inefficiencies providing recommendations to improve our offerings.
  • You will work to diagnose business needs, to translate them into questions that we will answer and to architect ways to wrangle data from multiple sources
  • You will conduct quantitative analyses (e.g. data investigations, UI analyses, data model assessments) in a defect-free manner to provide valuable insights for our customers
  • You will learn to translate our analytics into the stakeholder's native language, to tell stories to make complex ideas simple and to translate our findings into measurable, data-driven actions
  • You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient delivery of products in the Marketing Solutions portfolio while balancing client satisfaction, timing and budget targets
  • You will develop project scopes, project plans, risk mitigation strategies, and manage the daily with project management and TU best practices


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Track record of experience in analytics and clustering model developments (e.g. CAMEO, Insight etc)
  • Exceptional data, analytics, and quantitative acumen with an understanding of customer segmentation and marketing insights solutions
  • Experience in explaining data and marketing insights to internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective cross functional communicator in both written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to mentor and lead junior analysts, whilst this role currently doesn't have direct reports the plan would be to grow the team


Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Advanced technical (Master's) degree in Statistics, Data and / or Analytics / Quantitative (or equivalent) preferred
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
