SS&C Technologies seek an Assistant Financial Accountant. This role will report to the Head of Accounting and undertake general ledger accounting and analysis activities across multiple legal entities.

Your Responsibilities
- Month end accruals & prepayments
- Assist with fixed assets accounting, including additions and disposals
- Analysing large volumes of transactions for variance and trend reporting
- Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet and control accounts, and resolution of outstanding variances
- Uploading balance sheet account reconciliations into the Cadency SOX tool in accordance with monthly deadlines
- Liaise with colleagues to address miscoding’s or other issues identified, to improve underlying processing
- Assisting with PWC audit queries
- To communicate and promote the values which reinforce and support a consistent quality culture.
Your Experience
- Experience and confidence using Excel including pivot tables
- Strong general accounting knowledge - double entry, accruals, fixed assets
- Experience of analysing large volumes of data
- Experience of balance sheet account reconciliation, and control
- Previous experience of using Workday GL is preferable
- AAT, ACCA, CIMA or Degree qualifications desirable but not essential for this position.
