About North
North is Cohere’s cutting-edge AI workspace platform, designed to revolutionise how enterprises use AI. It offers a secure, customisable environment that enables companies to deploy AI while maintaining control over sensitive data. North integrates seamlessly with existing workflows, providing a trusted platform that connects AI agents with workplace tools and applications.
In this role, you will:
Design, build, ship and maintain scalable features for the agentic chat loop in North, ensuring seamless scalability and performance.
Take end-to-end ownership of features — from initial design and planning, through implementation, testing, and delivery.
Apply your expertise to deliver at speed, making practical technical decisions that balance velocity with depth and quality.
Collaborate closely across teams, maintaining high standards for communication, documentation, and testing.
You may be a good fit if you:
Have built, shipped & maintained production systems around LLMs.
Experience owning complex features from design to deployment, with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
Ability to work closely with researchers, engineers, and product teams to translate insights into actionable improvements.
Have strong coding abilities and are comfortable working across the stack.
Take a customer-focused, product-minded approach to building software, prioritising outcomes and impact.
Thrive in fast-paced environments and can stay focused as priorities and objectives evolve.
