Support the Head of Client Delivery Transformation to scope and drive transformation programmes: map current processes, evaluate technology, gather cross-functional requirements, plan deployments, and redesign payment and reconciliation journeys to reduce manual work and enable automation.
About the role
Alter Domus is undergoing a significant transformation of its global client delivery function. This role sits directly within the transformation team, supporting the Head of Client Delivery Transformation. You will act as a consulting-style associate — scoping new initiatives, evaluating technology solutions, structuring ambiguous problems and driving execution. The initial pipeline includes major programmes such as a Jira rollout, payment journey redesign, and reconciliation process transformation.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initial scoping of new transformation programmes — understand the problem, map current-state processes, and structure a clear path forward
- Research and evaluate technology solutions available in the market and produce clear recommendations for leadership
- Work across client delivery, technology, product, and operations stakeholders to gather requirements and align on delivery approach
- Support deployment planning for cross-cutting automation, data, and process initiatives spanning the global client delivery organisation
- Run ahead of upcoming initiatives — do the legwork so that programme and process owners can move quickly once funding and priorities are confirmed
- Contribute to the redesign of core end-to-end processes (e.g. payment journeys, reconciliation) — identifying automation opportunities and reduction of manual touchpoints
What we're looking for
- Consulting background (e.g. strategy / management consulting associate level) or equivalent analytical BA experience
- Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems, conduct research, and translate findings into actionable plans and presentations
- Experience working across technology and operations teams within financial services, asset management, or fund administration preferred
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, change-heavy environment where priorities evolve and pace of delivery is high
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, process mapping, or data strategy work is a plus
- Based in London or continental Europe (similar time zone strongly preferred); in-person collaboration in London required
