The Business Transformation function in Rotork is responsible for driving customer value, designing excellent company-wide business processes to support effective customer delivery and our Growth+ strategy.

Our Business Analysts play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical, strategic or operational solutions whilst delivering comprehensive analysis and insights across technological, strategic and operational programmes.  Shaping the way Rotork operates by supporting the design, documentation, optimisation, and governance of business processes across the organisation.

We are looking for a Business Analyst with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with stakeholders across the enterprise to gather requirements for ongoing improvements within our core systems, processes and workflows whilst delivering Rotork’s overall transformation strategy.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and process flows to drive improvements across the business.
  • Define and document business processes, data flows, RACI models and system requirements to support business operation and transformation.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and working sessions to gather, document and validate business requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current state and future state processes.
  • Designing, leading and implementing new processes and solution updates.
  • Partners closely with Global and Functional Process Owners, Product Owners and project teams to ensure alignment between business requirements, system requirements and the delivered change.
  • Support development of training materials and change management activities.
  • Advocate of the enterprise business process framework, building trusted business partner relationships and coaching benefit realisation.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Knowledge:

  • A Degree in Business Analysis, Business Management and Information Technology, Business Administration preferable or experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within complex corporate environments or multi-entity organizations. 
  • Advanced knowledge of process and problem-solving tools/methodologies and business process mapping. 

Analytical & Critical Thinking:

  • Skilled in requirements elicitation, root cause and gap analysis, SWOT assessments, and coaching decision-making to drive business improvements.
  • Experience in ERP deployment and management.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Experienced with tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365, Visio, Excel, Power BI, SQL, JIRA, and Azure DevOps; capable of creating process models, wireframes, and prototypes.

Project Delivery & Agile Methodologies:

  • Demonstrated success in supporting digital transformations using Agile, Scrum, and hybrid approaches, including UAT, training, and change management.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills; proactive, self-motivated, and effective at resolving issues and motivating teams.
