The Business Consultant owns discrete global delivery work within Quantios service implementations to ensure value realisation for the customer. The role translates customer requirements into configured Quantios solutions. It includes facilitating workshops, building high-quality artefacts, supporting testing, enabling adoption, and ensuring customers are ready to adopt the product confidently.
This is a hands-on global delivery role that works closely with multiple stakeholders including Project Management, Customer Success, Technical Consultants, Delivery Excellence and Application Support and contributes to the reusable assets that enable the consultancy practice to scale.
Job Requirements:
Discovery and Requirements
- Plan and facilitate workshops for scoped process areas; translate session outputs into validated, traceable requirements.
- Produce high-quality artefacts (workshop summaries, decision logs, requirements catalogues).
- Escalate gaps and options.
- Support discovery briefs and current-state process mapping.
Design and Configuration
- Design and configure QCore / Business Central solutions
- Produce configuration workbooks and maintain accurate documentation throughout delivery.
- Identify product capability gaps and raise structured, evidence-based feedback to Product.
Testing and Go-Live Readiness
- Collaborate on the acceptance criteria and support UAT planning and execution with customer users.
- Deliver UAT iteration loops: assess business impact, coordinate with the project triage process.
- Collaborate with technical consultants in data migration validation activities.
- Execute the go-live readiness checklist; contribute to the cutover runbook.
Training, and Handover
- Deliver role-based training for the solution areas owned.
- Produce handover documentation (SOPs, knowledge base entries, support transition pack) to enable a clean transition to Application Support.
Quality, Standards, and Contribution to Scale
- Follow and contribute to standard delivery playbooks, checklists, and templates; raise improvement suggestions through the appropriate channel.
- Apply change control discipline: draft impact assessments, assumptions and options for review and approval.
- Participate in peer reviews and retrospectives; contribute lessons learned to the knowledge base.
- Contribute reusable assets and continuous improvements (templates, checklists, scenario guides).
Stakeholder management and professional practice
- Build credibility with customers through preparation, clarity and follow-through.
- Manage expectations professionally.
- Work collaboratively across internal teams, escalating appropriately and supporting a “one team” global delivery culture.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in requirements gathering, discovery workshops, and process mapping.
- Knowledge of QCore / Microsoft Business Central configuration and solution design.
- Experience supporting UAT, testing, data validation, and go-live readiness.
- Strong documentation, training, and knowledge transfer capabilities.
- Ability to follow delivery standards and collaborate with cross-functional global teams.
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field; professional certifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, STEP) are an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, comfortable using AI and automation tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% and support a global customer base.
