The ReEntry Program is a 15-week fellowship program, beginning April 22, 2025 and ending July 31, 2025 with the prospect of an offer for permanent employment with JPMorganChase at the end of the program. The permanent placements will be based on both business needs and candidate skill set.

Team Overview
Business Control Management (BCM) is part of the Finance and Business Management (F&BM) function and operates within the 1st Line of Defence. BCM partners with The Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) and firmwide business leaders to ensure governance and accountability for the entire control environment. This includes operational risk assessment, control design and evaluation, and leading control-related activities for the businesses we support.
Job responsibilities
As the Business Control Manager for the Structuring Business, you will support the Strategic Indices business across multiple Lines of Business, including Equities, Rates, FX, Credit, and Commodities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Co-chairing Control Governance forums.
- Acting as the Controls and Operational Risk Framework Subject Matter Expert for the Structuring business.
- Monitoring and assessing operational risk to proactively identify and address existing and emerging risks and issues.
- Evaluating new business and change proposals, including the adoption of Large Language Model applications, against current risk and control infrastructure, and identifying necessary improvements.
- Fostering a proactive risk and control culture using proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols.
- Overseeing, reviewing, and executing ad hoc analytical requests, control deep dives, business projects, and business resiliency efforts.
- Collaborating across the three Lines of Defence: 1st Line - Business, Operations, Technology; 2nd Line - Legal, Compliance, Risk; 3rd Line - Audit to reduce operational risk and address identified issues.
