The digital platforms vertical encompasses leading enterprise platforms across PSP’s/Acquirers, spend management, workforce platforms, payroll, and marketplaces.

A bit about the role:

This role is based in our London office, working alongside the Head of Business Development for EMEA NBFI’s/digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with the EMEA Regional team and the Global Wise Platform teams across our offices worldwide. Additionally, you will work with various functions, including product management, compliance and legal, implementation, and engineering.

As a senior member of our commercial team in EMEA and the platform partnerships vertical team globally, you will own key opportunities with the largest corporations and financial platforms. You will drive initiatives to expand Wise Platform’s capabilities and contribute to the growth of Wise’s infrastructure footprint in EMEA.

Your mission:

  • Collaborate with the Wise Platform team to develop, secure, and execute a robust pipeline of enterprise platform partnerships in EMEA, driving product innovation, revenue, and volume growth for Wise.

  • Support the digital platforms vertical team strategy both in EMEA and globally.

  • Lead market analysis efforts to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential risks, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Work on initiatives to refine our strategy and approach within the EMEA region and globally. This includes contributing to the evolution of our product roadmap, pricing strategies, go-to-market efforts, and other key growth drivers.

  • Represent Wise and Wise Platform at industry events and conferences, serving as the spokesperson for our enterprise platform vertical.

Qualifications

A bit about you:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in payments, with a strong focus on international payments for major enterprise platforms in EMEA.

  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies that drive significant revenue growth.

  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services and regulatory landscape in EMEA, with a clear understanding of how they impact international payments across spend management, workforce platforms, and marketplaces.

  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to independently secure optimal terms while maintaining a clear product vision and understanding the ideal operational and commercial processes for each new partner.

  • A hands-on approach, comfortable leading discussions and actively supporting the business development team in building a strong pipeline.
