The successful candidate will be a key member of the FBP (Finance Business Partnering) team, working closely with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs and deliver solutions.
What you'll be doing...
- Develop an understanding of company and division objectives, both financial and strategic
- Be involved in the preparation of Board reports
- Act as a problem-solver, using multifaceted approaches to improve efficiency and drive company objectives (including development of AI-supported use cases to automate administrative tasks)
- Demonstrate adaptability and resourcefulness in assisting with projects (including preparation of business plans for tender processes, ROI analysis, financial modelling with Excel, support to budget preparation (capex or opex reviews), financial analysis…) and initiatives outside traditional role definitions
- Depending on business requirements, lead or assist the FBP team to work on the P&L (understanding variances between actuals and forecasts, performance and cost by contract or helping the Deputy Director to prepare forecast or scenario analysis), the balance sheet (working capital optimization) or the cash flow statement
- Help the business make financially sound decisions when it deals with procurement, supply chain, design / R&D or project management processes
- Collaborate with operations’ team to lead capex post-mortem reviews to ensure effective investment decision making and increase forecast accuracy
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing support wherever needed and reinforcing the importance of strong cost management
- Support the Deputy Director in any project of standardization (challenge warehouse footprint as an example) and performance management initiatives (procurement performance, year-to-year savings, rationalization of the number of suppliers…)
- Continuously learn and apply new skills to keep up with the fast-paced dynamics of our business
A little bit about you...
- Track record of using AI to automate analysis and processes
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems and reporting tools (SAP, Power BI, Oracle EPM)
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
- Experience in multiple Finance functions such as business partnering, commercial finance, and FP&A. Prior exposure in the media industry or publicly listed company beneficial.
- Capacity to think out of the box.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to prioritise well in a fast-paced environment.
