In this role you will be responsible for driving the execution of local and national marketing strategies with our target distributors, buying groups, and trade associations. You will collaborate within the marketing function and cross-functionally with distribution sales directors, regional sales managers, and product managers to ensure alignment as channel-specific plans are created and executed to drive growth for the nVent Electrical Connections product lines. Additional responsibilities include supporting the sales team and manufacturer representatives for key activities and events with distributors, as well as channel marketing resource management. 

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

    • Support the strategy and actions for creating end-user demand with channel partners 

    • Effectively project manage various distributor campaigns (plan, execute, and monitor multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously) 

    • Create or repurpose new product launch campaign materials and/or general brand or vertical materials to reach end users via channel partners’ sales and marketing teams and targeted campaign activities 

    • Drive efficiency of our sales and agent partners by serving as the primary owner for the content in the new marketing portal for Electrical Connections 

    • Lead quarterly organization and deployment of sales-facing support materials (RepFiles, Sales Resource Webpage, Sales and Agent Maps, Marketing Portal) 

    • Analyze branding compliance with all channel partners and build plan of recommendations for improvement 

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field) 

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience, including marketing, engineering or other appropriate experience, preferably working for a major electrical distributor or for a large industrial products manufacturer

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Excellent professional and creative written and verbal communication skills 

  • A history of successful development, deployment, and measurement of major marketing campaigns 

  • Experience in an industrial products environment a plus 

  • Energetic, results-oriented individual with strong attention to detail 

  • Self-starter, ability to take initiative with limited supervision 

  • Ability to work in teams across all levels of the organization 

  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
