The Role:
DailyPay is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join DailyPay's compliance department and provide leadership support in building and implementing a top-class, highly effective compliance program for DailyPay's fast-growing business. As the Compliance Senior Director (Product), you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance for our products and services. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, you will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure adherence to regulations and company policies.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Serve as key member of the Compliance team in building, executing, and expanding the company's compliance program.
  • Design and maintain companywide compliance policies, controls, and standards.
  • Provide leadership in promoting culture of ethics and integrity throughout organization and developing program features that embed compliance into all aspects of business.
  • Advise on the development, launch and iteration of DailyPay products and services.
  • Support the Chief Compliance Officer and other management and business leaders with compliance needs and questions.


What You Bring to The Team:

  • 7-10+ years of experience at a top law firm, including hands-on consumer financial services (CFS) compliance experience and/or in-house legal role in CFS compliance.
  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited, nationally recognized top law school and admission to the New York bar or another state bar.
  • Knowledge of and experience with oversight of CFS compliance programs.
  • Expertise and experience in at least some of the following: consumer financial services, fintech products, money service businesses, bank partnerships, issuer processing, federal/state licensing.
  • Deep understanding of BSA/AML/OFAC regulations, money transmission, Reg E, Reg Z, disputes/chargebacks, association and network rules, FCRA, marketing and advertising law (UDAP/UDAAP), privacy/data governance, cyber/information security, fraud prevention.
  • Experience interacting with financial regulators and/or sponsor banks in connection with the supervision of fintech product offerings, including registration, reporting, examinations, audits, inquiries and/or investigations.
  • Experience conducting internal monitoring and testing or product compliance.
  • Experience providing day-to-day compliance advice to product development, sales and marketing teams regarding CFS products and services.
  • Experience reviewing B2B and B2C marketing materials, UI/UX, consumer messaging.
  • Experience performing consumer complaint analysis to identify themes and root causes.
  • Superb interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound legal judgment, commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Ability to demonstrate highest degree of ethical leadership, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Ability to organize and manage complex projects.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently.
  • Occasional need to work outside of normal business hours as required to support customers may be required

Pay Transparency. DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
