Content Editor - Simulations
Location: Bedminster Down, Onsite
Salary:
£23,907.00 + benefits

Do you have a passion for creating engaging and user-focused content? Are you ready to play a critical role in delivering high-quality simulations and guides for consumer electronics products? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Content Editor - Simulations to join our team.

What You'll Do

This role will focus on using our bespoke in-house tools to create how to guides and product simulations that visually and interactively guides key actions and system operations of consumer electronics devices. You will ensure the timely delivery of high-quality simulations and “how-to” guides, meeting client requirements and staying ahead of the latest technology trends.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Team Manager - Simulations to deliver exceptional results while leveraging feedback, insights, and best practices to continuously optimize content. Full training in our tools will be provided.

Key Areas:

Content Creation

  • Build visually accurate and interactive simulations from scratch.

  • Update content in response to:

    • Operating System (OS) updates.

    • Client requests, feedback, and insights.

    • Market trends and unique selling points (USPs).

    • New product and OS releases

Workflow and Delivery

  • Manage tasks to meet deadlines and client requirements.

  • Track and oversee the progress of simulation builds to ensure timely completion.

  • Regular feedback on progress into team manager

Optimization

  • Regularly review and improve content based on client feedback, insights, and analytics.

  • Identify and implement improvements to tools, processes, and workflows.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Team Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client expectations and project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Ownership

  • Own and manage the creation of simulations and “how-to” guides using in-house tools.

  • Maintain high-quality standards in all content created.

  • Stay updated on the latest device and OS releases to ensure relevance and accuracy.

Operations Management

  • Ensure workflows and processes are clearly documented and adhered to.

  • Collaborate with the team to allocate tasks and balance workloads.

Content Delivery

  • Create, review, and edit simulations to meet quality, accuracy, and delivery standards.

  • Perform fixes post-testing to address quality issues.

Continuous Improvement

  • Use feedback and data to enhance the effectiveness and usability of content.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and optimization within the team.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Experience

  • Familiarity with web authoring tools or content management systems (CMS).

  • Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks).

  • Basic knowledge of HTML.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Proactive and solution-focused, with the ability to take initiative and see tasks through to completion.

  • Technically curious and capable, with an interest in consumer electronics and technology.
