About this role

About Aladdin

Aladdin® is an operating system for investment managers that connects the information, people, and technology needed to manage portfolios in real time. The platform combines sophisticated risk analytics with comprehensive portfolio management, trading, compliance, and operations tools to power informed decision-making, effective risk management, and scalable operational workflows. Aladdin is delivered to a global community of over 1,000 clients, with more than 100,000 end users worldwide.

About the team

The Commercial Operations & Transactions team sits within the Aladdin COO organisation and plays a central role in ensuring the commercial, regulatory, and operational integrity of the Aladdin business. The team partners with functions across both Aladdin and BlackRock more generally to support contracting, regulatory readiness, governance processes, and the execution of cross-functional initiatives. The team serves as a key enabler of Aladdin’s operational resilience and commercial strategy, helping ensure the platform remains aligned with global regulatory expectations and operates cohesively across regions and business areas.

About the role

As an Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting Aladdin’s regulatory readiness, commercial execution, and cross-functional change agenda. You will be responsible for monitoring emerging regulation, supporting analysis and impact assessments, contributing to regulatory implementation programmes, and helping define materials that demonstrate Aladdin’s operational resilience and compliance posture. You will also support broader COO-sponsored initiatives spanning organisational design, office footprint strategy, entity governance, and operational alignment across the EMEA Aladdin Business.

About you

You are a motivated, detail-oriented professional with a strong interest in technology, commercial execution, regulation, operational resilience, and complex cross-functional projects. You are comfortable interpreting regulatory material, synthesising information for senior audiences, and working across diverse stakeholder groups.

What we are looking for

  • 3–5 years’ experience in regulatory analysis, operational resilience, COO/business operations, legal/commercial operations, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret regulatory text, contractual language, and operational documentation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing materials for senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain high attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with regulatory or operational frameworks (e.g., outsourcing rules, resilience regimes, etc).

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across various teams.

  • Proficiency in English required; additional languages desirable.

To help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of employee benefits including: retirement investment and tools designed to help you in building a sound financial future; access to education reimbursement; comprehensive resources to support your physical health and emotional well-being; family support programs; and Flexible Time Off (FTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.
