Lawhive is an online platform for consumers and small businesses to get legal help for a fraction of the cost of a law firm. Our platform combines regulated human lawyers collaborating alongside the world’s first AI lawyer specifically built for consumer legal work.

Equal access to the law is one of the biggest and most pressing unsolved problems in society today. We’re passionate about levelling the playing field and believe access to the law should be a basic utility in society.

Our AI lawyer Lawrence is built on top of our own fine tuned LLM and recently passed the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE).

We have backing from leading US and UK VC funds including Google Ventures and Episode 1, and from founders and executives who've built some of the biggest startups like Bloom & Wild, Primer, SignalAI, Spotify, Meta, Curve, Monzo, Tide.
The Role

We’re hiring a Copywriter to help us better communicate the immense impact Lawhive delivers consumers.

Reporting to marketing leadership, you’ll be an integral member of the team, responsible for creating regular, high performing content, illustrating the meaningful impact of Lawhive's mission. You will work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, collaborating with teams across the business to deliver accurate and impactful messaging.

What the job involves

  • Writing content for our website and knowledge hub that is consumer friendly and furthers our mission of making the law more accessible.
  • Improving the copy in our email campaigns and writing community & customer updates.
  • Helping to build the foundations of marketing at Lawhive. As an early member of our team, you'll be instrumental in helping define our brand and voice.
  • Ensuring any content that is written conforms to our tone of voice and SEO guidelines.
  • Transforming the way people access their legal rights and making legal help accessible to everyone!
Requirements
  • You’re opinionated AF and want to help us change the legal system for the better.
  • You’re a natural born writer and love writing in a creative, consumer friendly way
  • You understand the importance of planning and organisation when researching, editing and creating content
  • You can write content that performs well in SERPS adhering to SEO principles & that converts whilst still explaining complex topics in a straight forward & understandable way
  • You’re highly organised and can demonstrate your attention to detail
  • You've worked in B2C environments
  • You have demonstrable experience writing in a consumer friendly voice
  • You’re highly motivated and ambitious. You are capable of learning and adapting in a fast changing start up environment.
