As a Country Risk Reporting Associate in the Country Risk Reporting Team, you provide essential data and analytical reports on exposure and stress metrics to Country Risk Managers and Senior Management. You help us make informed decisions and manage risks effectively. You will collaborate across teams, drive process improvements, and contribute to the development of new risk management tools. Your insights and attention to detail will support our commitment to robust risk controls and data quality.
Job Responsibilities
  • Collect, aggregate, and analyze data to produce country risk reports
  • Investigate and remediate data issues between source systems and risk infrastructure
  • Understand and apply stress scenarios and calculations
  • Interact with Country Risk Management, Credit Risk Management, Middle Offices, Controllers, Finance, and Technology
  • Report weekly country risk metrics to senior management
  • Provide commentaries for major exposure and stress variances
  • Assist in crisis monitoring and ad-hoc data collection for high-risk countries
  • Contribute to the automation and improvement of reporting processes
  • Participate in the development of new exposure and stress management tools
  • Support project management and operating model working groups
  • Assess and review data quality, proactively identifying and analyzing issues

Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Experience in either Market Risk, Credit Risk, Product Control or Financial Reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Science or Business related area.
  • Understanding of financial products; cross asset knowledge.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus.
  • Ability to work on multiple initiatives, prioritize activities and bring tasks to complete closure.
  • Basic Microsoft Office & strong Excel skills are required; working knowledge of data science (e.g. Machine learning), analytics platform (e.g. Alteryx) and data visualization tool (e.g. Tableau) and data analytics (e.g. Python)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, written and presentation. An ability to develop solid working relationships.
  • Good team player who can work well with colleagues of various levels, across multiple locations
