Our Information Technology team seeks an experienced candidate for designing, developing, testing, and releasing features and functionality on the Salesforce.com CRM and Zuora Billing platforms. The primary focus is improving the customer experience, driving adoption, and generating business value for RapidScale. This role will work closely with the business and technology teams to advance our use of these platforms to achieve strategic and annual goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and mentor team members in a consistent approach to Agile project methodologies to remove barriers and deliver value to the business
- Develop solutions (Including Apex classes and triggers) and customize flows and applications to extend both the Salesforce and Zuora platforms
- Creation and ongoing management of a well-constructed backlog of user stories and user acceptance criteria that meets the business goals and customer needs
- Ensure Epics - Features - User Stories are ready for development work, including clear and measurable acceptance criteria
- Daily collaboration with the Agile development team and quality assurance team
- Develop and track team performance metrics that measure the team's effectiveness and capacity for completing work
- Maintain (and add to) business integrations such as DemandBase, HubSpot, LinkedIn Navigator, Zuora CPQ, Talkdesk, ServiceNow, etc.
- Develop and execute a CRM and Billing Roadmap using the latest design approaches, technologies, and agile processes
- Develop product release plans that align with and deliver to the CRM and Billing Roadmaps
- Drive the continuous improvement of the Salesforce.com CRM and Zuora Billing platforms
- Continuously review the current performance of each platform
- Continuously monitor the platform KPIs
- Generate corrective actions and prioritize into the backlog along with business improvement user stories
- Work with each application support team to prioritize Rapidscale's needs in their product backlog, eliminating as many customization needs as possible
- Strategic and Operational Planning
- Must understand the strategic objectives and key results that pertain to the CRM and Billing platforms and use agile development strategies to meet those goals
- Must understand and prioritize development requests from each functional department and use agile development strategies to best meet those needs
- Align budgetary investments to achieve maximum return for the business group
Communication
- Must be able to summarize and communicate the status of various initiatives at both the strategic and departmental levels regardless of whether they are in the backlog, in progress, or completed.
- Ensure internal stakeholders' needs/expectations are met and promote transparency through effective communications
- Create regular project progress reports covering accomplishments; schedule performance; cost performance; and measured business outcomes for all projects
- Create and present executive-level communications as needed, both written and verbal.
Qualifications
Required :
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field (i.e. technology development, with a strong focus on Salesforce.com and Zuora platforms)
- The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field
- 3+ years' experience in management or leadership role
- Demonstrated experience managing developers in an Agile environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce architecture, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning framework.
- Experience with Zuora Billing, Revenue, and Collect modules
- Proficiency in database management and querying (e.g., SQL, SOQL) and familiarity with standard ETL tools, REST APIs, and custom integration techniques.
- Experience working with administrators across different applications
- Strong understanding of sales processes, service delivery processes, and financial processes
- Experience in building and leading Agile/Scrum development teams located in multiple geographies (including offshore)
Preferred:
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer and/or Certified Application Architect.
- Experience in financial and subscription management solutions, particularly in a cloud environment
- Motivated, high-potential performer with demonstrated ability to influence and lead
- Teachable and embraced best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement
- A strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset and a passion for driving technical innovation and operational excellence
- A person that could grow into a director role
USD 129,100.00 - 215,100.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $129,100.00 - $215,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
