We are looking to expand our team with a Data Engineer.
What you'll do
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow, Airbyte, and Databricks (Spark jobs)
- Contribute to reliable data models and help ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across the platform
- Write efficient, maintainable Python scripts and SQL queries
- Support and help evolve data infrastructure on AWS
- Work with CDC patterns and streaming ingestion pipelines
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing data workflows
- Leverage AI tools and models to accelerate development, code review, and data exploration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analytics, BI, product, engineering) using Jira and Confluence
- 2–4 years of experience in data engineering or a closely related role
- Working knowledge of Airflow, Databricks, Spark, Python, and SQL
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred)
- Exposure to data ingestion tools such as Airbyte (or equivalent CDC/ingestion frameworks)
- Familiarity with CDC patterns and/or streaming ingestion concepts
- Basic understanding of Kafka (nice to have)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and modern lakehouse architectures
- Comfortable working in Agile environments with Jira and Confluence
- Practical experience (or strong interest) in using AI tools and models (coding assistants, LLM APIs) to improve productivity and quality
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to learn, take ownership of tasks, and grow technically
