We’re looking for a Data Engineering Manager who’s excited by the challenge of building world-class data platforms and leading a high-performing engineering team. If you thrive at the intersection of hands-on technical leadership, strategic thinking, and empowering engineers to do their best work, this is a role where you’ll make a real impact.
How you'll contribute
As our Data Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a team of talented data engineers responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the scalable, high-quality data pipelines and models that power analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
You’ll be bringing experience in Scala, Python, SQL, Snowflake, and DBT—and guiding engineers through complex challenges while setting the standards for engineering excellence. You’ll drive continuous improvement, champion best practices, and ensure our data is accurate, reliable, and performant.
This role is central to shaping and delivering our data engineering roadmap. You’ll work closely with architects, analysts, and business leaders to ensure our data platforms evolve in line with strategic priorities and deliver tangible value.
As a people leader, you’ll provide clear direction, coaching, and performance management to your team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Strong leadership, effective prioritisation, and clear communication will be key to steering delivery, managing risk, and upholding high standards of data quality and operational stability.
If you’re passionate about building modern data ecosystems and enabling teams to deliver at scale, you’ll feel right at home here.
