Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- handle operational data privacy cases,
- responding to privacy-related queries from business stakeholders,
- defining requirements for capability enhancements and changes,
- conducting data quality scans, regular process reviews and documentation updates to ensure compliance and accuracy,
- conducting impact assessments, data incident management, reporting risk metrics and operational KPIs,
- driving awareness and training, as well as communications to strengthen privacy culture across the organization,
- monitoring regulatory changes and assessing their impact on data privacy management,
- reviewing and advising on changes to technology applications, products, or operational processes, to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in a relevant role (e.g. Compliance, Legal, Audit) or experience in a data & privacy domain of a large organisation
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Compliance and Governance, Auditing/Finance/ Risk or equivalent is a minimum requirement
- Good understanding of Data & Privacy policies and standards (including but not limited to GDPR)
- Experience with risk management and internal control frameworks
- Ability to optimize processes to ensure its efficiency and effectiveness while complying with requirements
- Certifications in data privacy are a plus (CIPP, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM),
- Highly motivated individual with a strong track record of achievement
- A good team player
- Ability to work well in teams as well as independently and to provide guidance to junior members
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
- Excellent critical thinking, communication and presentation skills
