All about the role:
Primary focus and responsibility of the Demand Planner role for UK & Ireland is to manage a robust and consistent demand forecasting process including product lifecycle management, monitoring the actual sales orders vs forecast and generate a demand forecast outlook using SAP APO as the primary tool.
What you'll do:

Manage and execute the monthly demand forecasting process at customer and product group levels, proactively driving forecast accuracy and minimizing bias.

Responsible for the 18-month demand forecast outlook in SAP APO, ensuring alignment and consistency across the organization.

Analyze and challenge Sales and Product Management forecasts, identify demand trends, and understand business activities to initiate actions for improving forecast accuracy.

Act as the key contact for business and Product Management stakeholders, closely collaborating on promotions, campaigns, and initiatives impacting the demand forecast outlook.

Maintain strong communication with Supply Chain, Central Inventory, and Customer Service teams to provide clear insights, enabling optimal decisions to address supply and demand imbalances.

Oversee Product Lifecycle Management in SAP APO, managing product introductions, phase-ins, and phase-outs to ensure the demand forecast remains aligned with portfolio changes.
Qualifications:
-
Several years of experience as Demand Planner or in a comparable role.

Experience in managing and analyzing data and identify trends, (statistical) product demand forecasting, including product lifecycle planning, incorporating promo activities and events, and doing trend analysis.

Ability to build a strong network with the different key stakeholders of the S&OP process (Supply Chain, Business, Product Management, Production Plants, etc.).

Strong interpersonal skills, high degree of energy and resilience, continuous improvement mind-set and openness to change management.

Good understanding of a typical demand planning IT environment and working with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) DP (Demand Planning) module or other planning tools.

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field desirable.
