Every day, somewhere in the world, important decisions are made. Whether it is a private equity company deciding to invest millions into a business or a large corporation implementing a new strategic direction, these decisions impact employees, customers, and other stakeholders.

Consulting and private equity firms come to proSapient when they need to discover knowledge to help them make great decisions and succeed in their goals. It is our mission to support them in their discovery of knowledge.

We help our clients find industry experts who can provide their knowledge via interview or survey: we curate this knowledge in a market-leading software platform; and we help clients surface knowledge they already have through expansive knowledge management.

We’re hiring a DevOps Engineer to join proSapient as we scale a global primary research platform used by leading investors and consultants worldwide.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working close to production systems - refactoring infrastructure, upgrading components, and improving reliability as the platform grows. You’ll work across AWS and Kubernetes, partnering closely with engineers to improve CI/CD pipelines, strengthen environments, and make deployments safer and smoother.

You’ll join a collaborative engineering culture where DevOps plays a key role in enabling teams, not just responding to issues. While the platform is already live and operating at scale, there’s real opportunity to improve stability, reduce friction, and help shape how infrastructure is managed going forward.

If you’ve worked in small DevOps teams or independently, are comfortable owning production changes, and care about communicating clearly when systems evolve, this role offers meaningful impact, variety, and the chance to grow alongside a scaling product and engineering organisation.

Key duties in this role will include:

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring systems are reliable, scalable, and secure
  • Operate and optimize workloads on AWS, improving efficiency and performance across production environments
  • Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to streamline deployments and accelerate delivery
  • Manage, scale, and secure Kubernetes clusters, enabling stable and resilient application operations
  • Enhance observability, monitoring, and alerting using DataDog to proactively detect and resolve issues
  • Support production releases, incident response, and root cause analysis, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid recovery
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve system reliability, performance, and deployment workflows

Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts and operations
  • Good knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting practices
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and application layers

Why Join proSapient?

  • Be part of a rapidly growing company that is redefining primary research
  • Work on a modern cloud-native platform with real-world impact
  • Collaborate with a talented, driven, and diverse engineering team
  • Competitive salary and opportunities for professional development

Benefits
  • Tenure Gifts - Vouchers, extra holiday and sabbaticals for each year of employment.
  • Health insurance through Vitality
  • Employee Assistance Programme - Access to a health and wellbeing service that offers personalised advice and support from specialist teams.
  • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity pay.
  • Annual Leave - 25 days + bank holidays which includes a week's closure over the Christmas period to fully reset.
  • MyMindPal app - Online support for mental fitness that helps people to stress less and enjoy life more
  • Corporate Events - From quarterly gatherings to our annual winter & Summer parties, we love to celebrate, collaborate and have fun together!

We are committed to building an inclusive workplace – did you know that marginalized groups are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every requirement listed? If you are interested in the above role, but don’t necessarily tick every box, we encourage you to apply anyway – this role could still be a great match! Take a look at our diversity statement here.
