Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Management Consultant with deep Investment Banking (IB) and Capital Markets (CM) domain expertise to support strategic, regulatory, and digital transformation programmes across leading financial institutions. The ideal candidate combines traditional IB/CM knowledge with an understanding of emerging Digital Asset technologies, Tokenisation, and evolving market infrastructure.

Working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams, you will help shape and deliver client engagements across strategy, operating model design, transformation management, and digital asset innovation.

Client Delivery & Advisory
  • Lead and support consulting engagements across Investment Banking and Capital Markets functions, including front-to-back trade lifecycle, market structure, execution, clearing, settlement, and post-trade processes.

  • Advise clients on emerging trends across Digital Assets, Tokenisation, DLT-based market infrastructure, and regulatory developments.

  • Conduct current-state assessments, gap analyses, and operating model reviews for trading, risk, operations, and technology functions.

  • Design target operating models, process re-engineering initiatives, and transformation roadmaps.

  • Facilitate client workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements gathering sessions to drive engagement outcomes.

Project & Programme Management
  • Manage delivery of complex change programmes across front office, operations, risk, finance, and technology teams.

  • Oversee project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, and cross-functional delivery streams.

  • Ensure project governance, reporting, documentation, and communication are of the highest standard.

Digital Assets & Tokenisation Initiatives
  • Support clients in evaluating tokenisation use cases (e.g., securities, collateral, funds, deposits).

  • Provide guidance on interoperability, smart contracts, digital asset custody, ledger technologies, and settlement models.

  • Translate regulatory expectations (e.g., MiCA, DLT pilot regime, HM Treasury/FCA frameworks, US and APAC regulations) into actionable design and compliance strategies.

Consulting Practice Contribution
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to capability building across IB, CM, and Digital Assets practices.

  • Support business development: creating proposals, shaping RFP responses, and contributing to thought leadership.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & ExperienceIndustry & Domain Expertise
  • 5–10+ years' consulting experience in Investment Banking or Capital Markets, ideally within a top-tier consultancy or financial institution.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of products such as Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, Structured Products, Repos, or Securities Financing.

  • Strong understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle, market infrastructure, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.

Digital Assets / Tokenisation Expertise
  • Working knowledge of blockchain/DLT, tokenised assets, digital securities, stablecoins, or digital custody models.

  • Familiarity with digital asset market participants, regulatory developments, and evolving settlement paradigms.

Consulting & Change Skills
  • Proven experience managing or delivering large-scale business transformation, regulatory change, or technology implementation projects.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation capabilities.

  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments and drive clarity, structure, and momentum.
