Job Summary

We are looking for a new EHS Advisor employee to be based in Blackburn

Summary:

This person will be In charge of developing, implementing, and monitoring company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Accident-free, healthy work.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Using your coaching approach, ensure our factory teams are compliant to EHS standards everyday.
  • Bring the risk assessments to life so that everyone understands how to control our risks and stay safe – work safe – home safe.
  • Guide and support our leaders to achieve compliance through being the role model our teams expect.
  • Ensure prompt and clear communication of issues and good practice found during safety and Gemba inspections as well as support the corrective and preventative actions.
  • Coordinate a culture of continuous improvement to achieve and recognise best practice.

The experience/qualification we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Qualified EHS Professional
  • Typically requires some years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/fabrication/engineering environment.
  • Comfortable in preparing reports and using data to demonstrate the need to improve in particular areas
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
