About this opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electromechanical Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of passive infrastructure at our telecommunications sites. This critical role involves ensuring the smooth functioning of generators, electrical systems, and mechanical infrastructure, while leading a team to achieve operational excellence.
What you will do:
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of technicians and suppliers.
  • Delegate tasks, provide coaching and mentorship, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  • Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of all passive infrastructure, including (Generators and power distribution systems, overhauling and major repairs, electrical panels and wiring and site security and fire suppression systems)
  • Perform preventive maintenance procedures and schedule repairs as needed.
  • Stay up to date on industry's best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure management.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Track inventory, manage spare parts, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Analyze infrastructure performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement changes and upgrades to optimize infrastructure efficiency and reliability.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (operations, sourcing line management) and external suppliers.
  • Lead all technical discussions with customers regarding infrastructure maintenance.
  • Prepare regular reports on site performance, maintenance activities, and potential risks.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and lessons learned.

The skills you bring:
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in infrastructure operations and maintenance, preferably in a telecommunications environment.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams of technicians and suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems within telecom sites.
  • In-depth knowledge of generator maintenance and electromechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid certifications in infrastructure maintenance and safety standards preferred.
