Role Summary
This role sits within the EMEA North Marketing team and is responsible for strategic development and execution of marketing plans with the region’s key resellers and distributors. The role reports to the Head of Marketing for EMEA North and works closely with the regional channel marketing teams across EMEA.
What You Will Do
- With alignment to the central marketing strategy and in close collaboration with the Channel Sales Team, you will develop and execute quarterly or annual marketing plans with key strategic partners within the UK. Setting clear objectives for co-marketing activities, and ensuring the success of these initiatives through meticulous performance measurement and monitoring.
- Develop Distribution Marketing Frameworks with the distributors across UK, Ireland and the Nordics working with the Senior Distribution Manager to drive the recruitment and enablement of Sophos’ resellers and MSPs .
- In conjunction with the Channel Sales Team and EMEA Channel Marketing Director create regional specific channel incentives/SPIFFS for a small group of strategic partners, as well as the regions involvement in EMEA-wide channel incentive programmes.
- Monitor and support the execution of partner co-marketing activities, campaigns, events and webinars, and perform analyses to drive improvements.
- Manage Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and marketing budget expenditures reviewing partner requests, approving and then thorough tracking of ROI. Conduct regular reviews of channel partners’ performance through Quarterly Business Reviews alongside the Channel Account Manager.
- Be the strategic lead for the EMEA North Partner Roadshow working with Sophos’ events agency to deliver 7 roadshow stops across the region.
- Report on the key channel metrics and track ROI from all the channel-to and channel-through activities, delivering input for Channel & EMEA North quarterly business reviews
- Be an active member of the Sophos EMEA Channel Marketing community, contributing to the creation of enablement content for partners, including onboarding materials, educational webinars, and 1:many channel communications for distributors and resellers.
What You Will Bring
- Experience and desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, B2B global organisation, ideally within cybersecurity
- Ability to implement and measure a marketing plan
- An aptitude for problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally, with multiple stakeholders
- Experience of tracking and reporting on marketing activities using Power BI and budget management
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Solid experience in a marketing role with a minimum of 2 or more years in a pure channel marketing position
- Educated to Degree Level
- Marketing qualification CIM or equivalent (or working towards)

Requirement to work as part of global organisation and ability to flex hours to work across multiple time zones
Ability to travel to visit partners, distributors and attend events across EMEA
Attend Marketing team meetings at Sophos’ HQ in Abingdon, Oxfordshire
