Engineering Manager - Design System
At Adyen, we recognize the immense value of a well-structured design system in empowering teams to build the most seamless and scalable financial platform product. Our design system, called Bento, is vital in providing a cohesive and seamless experience for our customers. It serves as a key foundation in ensuring every interaction with our product is intuitive, accessible, and consistent - aligning perfectly with our mission to deliver exceptional service.
What you’ll do
- Passionate about and experienced with Design Systems.
- 4+ years of experience leading and supporting front-end developers while building front-end applications.
- Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- A strategic thinker who enjoys planning ahead and aligning technical and design goals.
- Committed to fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment — comfortable setting roadmaps, mentoring engineers, providing transparent feedback, and championing career development.
- A team player who values collaboration and ensures everyone feels empowered to contribute.
- An excellent communicator, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders with clarity and empathy.
- Experienced in working across global teams, building meaningful and effective relationships.
Who you are:
