POSITION SUMMARY:
The Executive, Digital Marketing plays a key role in managing & optimising content on the website and other online platforms, supporting digital marketing campaigns, and managing CRM-campaigns (Customer Relationship Management). This position ensures seamless communication and engagement, leveraging a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and data-driven strategies to enhance digital presence and strengthen brand visibility.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital Marketing & Website Content Management:
- Upload and manage content (text, images, videos, promotions, etc.) across our websites using a Content Management System (CMS).
- Ensure all website content is engaging, accurate, up to date and aligned with our brand messaging.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement scheduled content updates for seasonal promotions, special events, and offers to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Manage and maintain content across other online platforms, including Digital Signs, Melsuite, IPTV, ResDiary etc.
- Optimise content for search engines and track performance metrics to refine marketing strategies.
Email & SMS Marketing (CRM):
- Manage all online & offline marketing opt-in channels (e.g., website, hotel check-in) across the resort in a GDPR-compliant manner
- Grow the opt-in database and segment Email Lists based on user data and behaviour.
- Create, execute, and analyse Email and SMS-campaigns (CRM) to enhance customer engagement and drive conversions, including Monthly Newsletters, Pre-Arrival Emails, Post-Stay Emails, and ad-hoc promotional emails.
- Develop and oversee email marketing schedules to ensure timely and relevant content distribution.
- Track email performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, revenue, and perform data-driven optimisations.
- Work in partnership with designers and copywriters to optimise structured Email and SMS creative templates based on best practices.
- Ensure Emails and SMS-messages adhere to Email/SMS Marketing best practices and legal regulations, such as GDPR.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Email Marketing, or Content Management.
- Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour.
- Experience working with Email Marketing/CRM-platforms, Content Management Systems (CMS), and digital analytics tools.
Education
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field.
Skills / Competencies
- Proficiency in Email Marketing/CRM tools, platforms (e.g., MailChimp, HubSpot).
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and Digital Advertising.
- Experience using Content Management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal or a similar platform will be considered an advantage.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for formatting and troubleshooting content issues will be considered an advantage.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and understand new systems.
- Analytical mind-set with the ability to interpret data, perform A/B testing and make data driven decisions.
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and accounts simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in both Greek and English languages to convey requirements and expectations clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
