The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:
Immediate open position for summer co-op term
QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrolled in a Degree / Diploma program in finance and or accounting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills and software skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
• Excellent organizational skills
• Eligible to work in Canada

DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
(Optional) - Preferred but not required

• Working knowledge of CMI/Trans4M software
• Working knowledge of PTS accounting software
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Automotive manufacturing experience

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compensation: $21.31 - $26.52 per hour
• Follow Mytox / Magna financial rules, regulations and procedures
• Supporting accounting staff in matching packing slips and PO's along with invoices
• Entering coded invoices into Accounting Data Base System
• Reviewing fixed asset sub-ledger and depreciation, preparing asset tags and install on assets along with physical counts
• Other administrative tasks such as organizing cheques and EFT by suppliers, filing, organizing supplier files and so on
• Participation in 5S Audits
• Involvement in continuous improvement program
• Performs all job functions abiding by the office/work standards, policies and procedures as outlines in the company handbook.
• Performs all job functions in alignment with IATF 16949 quality management standards and ISO 14001
• Attend training based on Mytox's internal training matrix
• Performs all job functions in a safe, healthful and environmentally conscious manner, abiding by all rules and regulations as outlined in the company handbook
• Performs other duties as assigned or any reasonable request by management
