Primary Responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack, web-based analytics and trading applications that support pre-trade, risk, and research workflows.
- Partner directly with Portfolio Managers and quantitative analysts to understand investment processes, translate requirements into features, and deliver impactful solutions.
- Shape the future of FIM's investment toolkit and user interface platform strategy, delivering intuitive, high-performance tools using modern technologies.
- Collaborate across engineering, research, investing, and design teams to integrate analytics into core workflows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience developing robust TypeScript/React applications with a Python or comparable backend.
- Passion for crafting intuitive, high-performance user interfaces and seamless user experiences.
- Skilled in Linux environments and modern cloud platforms for scalable application delivery.
- Strong communicator, able to bridge technical and business perspectives with clarity and impact.
- Deep curiosity about fixed income and macro trading, with enthusiasm for mentoring and developing early-career talent.
