YOUR ROLE

RAPP is searching for a Freelance Senior Product Owner to join an established multi-agency team migrating digital assets from an Omnicom-built bespoke Digital Asset Management platform to Adobe AEM Assets for a well-known global luxury automotive brand.

You will be empowering the team to turn the product solutions, designs, and user experiences (defined in collaboration with the client) into working software within defined scope and timescale constraints, and verify that the implementation delivers the expected value for the users. The ideal candidate will be a qualified CPO with a keen eye for details, and the ability to easily flow from discussions with OMC software engineers to the client’s executive management. Strong written and verbal communication skills along with a collaborative personality are a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the client and OMC’s Adobe Technology Solutions team (LeapPoint) to understand user pain points and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with LeapPoint and the client on Story Mapping exercises to divide large features into incremental iterations that can be delivered Elaborate stories and decompose epics into stories. Collaborate with the development teams on Story Slicing and right-sizing to ensure that the work can be effectively delivered and tracked.
  • Own, prioritize, and manage the iteration backlog to ensure that the team is clear on what to work on next.
  • Collaborate with the Programme Director to ensure blockers are cleared and that work is organized and managed to ensure user value is achieved in each iteration
  • Attends all agile and scrum meetings to ensure that development work is aligned with the roadmap. Communicates the voice of the customer to the development team.
  • Provides feedback on the progress and issues to the Programme Director, LeapPoint and the client, and collaborate on identifying solutions to progress deficits.
  • Work with QA teams to ensure that all product use cases are covered, that quality standards are met, and that user value is delivered. Work with the development team.
  • Own story delivery, prioritization, and communication of updates in collaboration with the Programme Director and LeapPoint.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in a software development related role, with at least 3 years in a Product Owner role – evidence of successful product delivery required
  • Thorough understanding of Agile processes, and a track record of working in an Agile environment
  • Highly detail-oriented and someone who loves creating and implementing Agile processes
  • Ability to work in an agile manner in a rapidly changing requirements environment
  • Experience in managing third-party partnerships and driving success
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with experience communicating across groups with varying degrees of technical background
  • Organized: Must be able to manage deadlines and prioritize daily, weekly and monthly tasks
  • Detail-oriented: Accuracy and attention to detail is very important in this position
  • Analytical, evaluative, and likes to solve problems
