About the RoleWe're looking for a Frontend Engineer to help build and maintain the user-facing applications that power Ethereum Name Service (ENS). In this role, you'll work on creating intuitive, seamless, and beautiful interfaces that allow users to interact with ENS and the decentralized web. As part of a small, agile team, you'll be directly involved in designing and building innovative frontend experiences that enhance the usability of ENS and drive the adoption of Web3 technologies.

What You’ll DoWork closely with cross-functional teams to build intuitive web applications that integrate smoothly with wallets, smart contracts, and APIs.
Develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications for ENS, focusing on delivering scalable and user-centric experiences.
Innovate by introducing new ideas, tools, and technologies to enhance our platform and iterate on existing features.
Collaborate with product and design teams to gather user feedback, analyze business needs, and translate them into impactful features and improvements.
Adhere to industry best practices for secure frontend development in the Web3 space.
Continuously improve testing frameworks, thoroughly testing your code with multiple test types. Stay informed on the latest Web3 development practices, tools, and trends.
3+ years of experience as a frontend engineer, with a proven track record of building and deploying web applications.
Strong experience with Typescript and frontend development.
Ability to create clean, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience.
Comfortable working with both structured design systems and crafting solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in debugging and resolving issues related to user input and edge cases.
Strong communication skills, able to coordinate effectively with designers, engineers, and external partners.
Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining high-quality code standards.
A genuine passion for Web3 technologies and an appreciation for and the values that underpin Web3 technologies (e.g. blockchain, smart contracts, and decentralized governance).
Experience building decentralized applications (dApps) or working with decentralized protocols like ENS or other Ethereum-based projects.
Knowledge of Solidity or smart contract development.
