Full Stack Engineer (Level 4 - FTE)
Location: Galway
This is an opportunity for a highly motivated Full Stack Engineer to join the Cash and Positions Development team in the Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) Technology group.
The Expertise You Have
- BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ experience in software application design and development.
- Desired skillset: Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST Services, deployment technologies, AWS and GitHub.
- Experience in DB development with Oracle.
- Proficiency in UI Development would be a distinct plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and driving automation.
- Experience developing automated unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience in automating windows server and application deployment processes.
- Experience in performing server installations, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
The Purpose of Your Role
The Senior Full Stack Engineer will be part of a global team that focuses on building solutions supporting Fidelity’s Investment Operations group.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analysis, problem-solving and documentation skills coupled with a strong motivation for working in a highly customer-focused environment, who works well in a collaborative, iterative, and fast-paced environment and is used to working in an Agile software delivery team.

The Cash and Positions Development team works within the Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations group which provides accounting and investment management support services for Fidelity mutual funds and other retail and institutional investment products.
