 Global Quality Engineer

ESAB Corporation is seeking a Global Quality Engineer to join our team in Opole, Poland. This role plays a key part in improving system and product quality while ensuring compliance with corporate, regional, and regulatory standards. About the job 📚

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems as assigned.

  • Perform system, process, and regulatory compliance audits, reporting and management.

  • Support cross-functional partnerships with site Quality team members, engineers, managers, and other departments.

  • Track, collect, analyze, and investigate issues related to process measurement, product field performance, and warranty returns.

  • Drive continual improvement initiatives and report progress to management.

  • Initiate and recommend solutions to quality-related problems.

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and implementations.

  • Provide routine reporting, analytics, and support for ad-hoc information requests.

  • Support new product development and introduction, including Plan for Every Part (PFEP), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

  • Review new product reliability plans and contribute to warranty strategy proposals.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree required.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (recent graduates may apply).

  • Understanding of ISO9001, ISO13485, CSA, UL (formal training and experience preferred).

  • Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa diagrams, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, and Control Plans.

  • Ability to analyze data from various sources and develop practical solutions.

  • Strong communication skills, including technical writing, reporting, and presentations.

  • Knowledge of analysis software such as Minitab and Power BI is desirable.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

  • Travel required (up to 25%, domestic and international).
